From the moment your family enrolled at PSI, you became a part of the Park Spanish Immersion Parent-Teacher Organization.
The PSI PTO is a dedicated group of caregivers and community members who enhance the education experience of all students, families, and staff through fundraising and volunteer opportunities. They support students and staff in meaningful ways throughout the year, including:
- Bringing Amity Interns (young adults from Spanish-speaking countries) to work directly with students in the classroom.
- Hosting family events that bring our community together
- Funding classroom enrichment and special programs
- Supporting field trips and hands-on learning experiences
- Providing staff appreciation and recognition
- Coordinating volunteer opportunities
- Raising funds to enhance the student experience
Amity Intern Program
Our biggest investment is the Amity Intern Program. These are young adults from Spanish-speaking countries who work alongside teachers in every K–5 classroom each year. They bring their language, their culture, and their stories directly into each students' experience. The PTO and the school community support the program through fundraising.
