Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Information

Student Drop-Off and Pick-Up Information

Here is how you can ensure a smooth and safe arrival and dismissal for all of our students and families at Park Spanish Immersion.

Please note that school starts promptly at 7:45 a.m. and ends at 2:15 p.m. Regardless of how your child gets to school, students who arrive after 7:45 a.m. are considered tardy. We appreciate your efforts to help your child arrive on time and ready to learn!

There are three ways for students to arrive and depart from school: by bus, through our Kiss and Ride drop-off line, or by walking.

Bus Riders

Students who ride the bus will be dropped off and picked up at Door 6, located near the playground and cafeteria. Our staff members will be there each morning to welcome your child with a smile and help them safely start their day.

St. Louis Park Public Schools partners with Park Adam Transportation for bussing. Families can reach out to Park Adam directly at 952-591-1538 to check on routes and pick-up/drop-off times.

Kiss and Ride (Family Drop-Off and Pick-Up)

If you plan to drop your child off or pick them up, please use our Kiss and Ride lane at Door 3, located in the upper parking lot. Morning Student DROP-OFF opens at 7:25 a.m. and closes at 7:44 a.m. Afternoon Student PICK-UP opens at 2:15 p.m.

To expedite the process safely:

  • Families will not be allowed to drop off or pick up students at the front office between 7:15–7:44 a.m. and 2:00–2:25 p.m. Please plan accordingly.  Students cannot be dropped off at the lower parking lot (door 1) and allowed to walk up the stairs during arrival and dismissal.
  • Pull as far forward as possible, forming two lanes upon entering the parking lot.
  • When your car arrives at the curb, please allow your child to exit the vehicle and walk to door 3.
  • Have your child ready to exit on the passenger side when you arrive at the curb. For pickup they should also enter the vehicle on the passenger side.
  • For everyone's safety, drivers should remain in their vehicles during drop-off and pick-up.
  • Staff members will be present to assist students and keep the line moving.
  • For pick up, display/hang your Family Kiss & Ride numbered tag from your rear view mirror, facing out.
  • Returning families should use their “Kiss & Ride” car tag again this year. Families needing a replacement or additional car tag should contact Suleydi in the office at 952-928-6401.
  • New PSI families will receive their tags from their classroom teacher. Kindergarten families will receive them at the Kindergarten Conference on Monday, August 31.
  • As school begins at 7:45 a.m., the Kiss and Ride line will close at 7:44 a.m. Any remaining cars will be rerouted to the main office entrance for student check-in and given a late pass.

Please find a Kiss & Ride map below.

Walkers

Students who walk to school are welcome to enter through the Kiss and Ride doors (Door 3). Staff will be available to greet them and ensure they begin their day safely. Walkers should exit during dismissal via door 2 by the gym, no cars should be parked in the fire lane to maintain the safety of our students.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and efficient arrival and dismissal for all students. If you have any questions or need additional support, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

¡Nos vemos pronto!
