PSI Kiss & Ride (Drop Off and Pick Up) Procedures

The Kiss & Ride (student drop off and pick up) procedures are the same as last year. 

• Returning families were asked to keep their Kiss & Ride car tag to use again this year. 
• Families needing a replacement car tag should contact Kathy in the office at 952-928-6555.
• New families to our school will receive their tags from their classroom teacher.

Kindergarten families will receive them at the Connect Time on Tuesday, Sept. 6.

For the safety of all, we are asking families to drop off and pick up their child(ren) ONLY at the Kiss & Ride (at door #3, upper parking lot).

Kiss & Ride Procedure:
 
Morning Student DROP-OFF (opens at 7:28 a.m. and closes at 7:43 a.m.)

• Pull as far forward as possible, forming two lanes upon entering the parking lot
• Only allow your child(ren) to exit on the passenger side anywhere along the sidewalk
• Please pay attention to the turn lanes and stoplight when exiting the school parking lot

Afternoon Student PICK-UP (opens at 2:15 p.m.)

• Please do not arrive prior to 1:55 pm to minimize the long back-up of vehicles on Cedar Lake Road
• Line up ONLY heading west on Cedar Lake Road. Cars heading east on Cedar Lake Road trying to turn left at the light to enter or exit the parking lot can cause dangerous situations.
• Use your turn signal (blinker) when entering or exiting the parking lot.
• Display/hang your Family Kiss & Ride numbered tag from your rear view mirror, facing out
• Pull as far forward as possible, forming two lanes upon entering the parking lot
• Allow your child(ren) to only enter on the passenger side of the vehicle on the sidewalk side
• If you need to help your child buckle, please allow your child to enter your vehicle and pull ahead so other cars can get around you
• Please pay attention to the turn lanes and stoplight when exiting the school parking lot
• Like last year, students being picked up by their families will report to the gym at the end of the day. They will stand with any siblings by their family number posted on the gymnasium wall. Students will be dismissed from the gymnasium as their cars are getting into position
