Admission to PSI

Park Spanish Immersion Elementary School (PSI) is one of St. Louis Park Public Schools' four elementary schools, and an option you may consider for your kindergarten student.

Per the PSI Admissions policy, PSI has 84 kindergarten spots available each year, with a limited number of those seats available for open enrollment from other school districts. If more applications are received than spots available, the district conducts a lottery to determine enrollment per School Board Policy #545

If you are a resident of St. Louis Park, you will receive a PSI Resident Application for Enrollment form in mid-January. This form must be completed and received in the District Office by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021 for your child to be considered for enrollment at PSI for the 2021-22 school year.

If you are not a resident of St. Louis Park, but seeking enrollment at PSI for your child, you must complete an open enrollment form and return it to the District Office by January 15, 2021. To request an open enrollment form, contact the Enrollment Center at enrollment@slpschools.org.

Please note that siblings of students already attending PSI are NOT automatically enrolled. Sibling preference for St. Louis Park residents will be granted ONLY if your family meets criteria as outlined in the PSI Admissions Policy and if the application is received by stated deadlines.
